What is Embroidery?

Embroidery is the process of applying a permanent decoration to a garment using a needle and thread. Best suited for high value apparel such as jackets, hats or thicker garments. Embroidery is very durable, and can produce very vibrant colours and is created using premium threads.

ELEVATE YOUR EMBROIDERY

Embroidery Options

Our general embroidery is created with our flat embroidery technique. This is the most straight-forward decoration process but there are many more ways to bring your embroidery to life.

MOST POPULAR

Flat Embroidery

Flat embroidery is when a decorative stitch is applied directly to a garment creating a flat design. Flat embroidery can be used for the most intricate designs without distorting the image which makes it the most popular embellishment.

MOST POPULAR

3D Puff Embroidery

3D Puff is a technique where foam is inserted under the top stitch to raise the surface, giving a three-dimensional look to your embroidered designs. This 3D effect is most commonly used on caps.

Embroidered Patches

An embroidered patch is a piece of embroidery which is created by using a fabric backing and thread. They can be applied to garments using thread with an adhesive backing. Great for caps or sleeve patches.

SPECIALTY

Metallic Threads

Metallic threads are a certain type of thread that appears to be made of metal, but is actually made of a synthetic material such as polyester. You can transform a flat, 2D design into a 3D type picture using metallic thread.

SPECIALTY

Chenille Embroidery

Chenille is a textured embroidery option that is created by forming loop stitches on the top side of the fabric. Using wool, cotton or acrylic yarns, it creates a unique texture that sets your embroidery apart from other designs.

Tackle Twill

Tackle Twill, or applique, involves sewing down a number or letter made by cutting pieces of one material and applying them to the surface of another material. This process is great for covering large areas with a logo or text where strictly embroidering it would be too heavy or make the garment uncomfortable to wear.
