WHAT IS EMBROIDERY
The Premium Choice for Corporate Apparel
Embroidery stitches your logo or design directly into the fabric using coloured thread. Unlike printed decoration methods, embroidery creates a textured, three-dimensional look that feels premium and professional. Embroidered logos are extremely durable — they hold up through repeated washing without fading, cracking, or peeling.
CCA's in-house embroidery team in Concord, Vaughan handles everything from single-piece corporate gifts to large-scale uniform programs for businesses, teams, and schools across Toronto and the GTA. Bring your brand to life on polo shirts, jackets, hats, workwear, and more.
Embroidery is measured in stitch count — the more complex or detailed your design, the higher the stitch count. Our art team will digitize your artwork and provide a digital proof for approval before production begins. The digitizing file is yours to keep and is reused on all future orders at no additional cost.

More Ways to Bring your Embroidery to Life
Our standard embroidery uses flat embroidery technique — the most versatile and popular option. We also offer specialty techniques for designs that need something extra.
Flat Embroidery
A decorative stitch applied directly to the garment creating a flat design. Works for the most intricate designs without distortion — the go-to choice for logos, text, and detailed artwork.
3D Puff Embroidery
A decorative stitch applied directly to the garment creating a flat design. Works for the most intricate designs without distortion — the go-to choice for logos, text, and detailed artwork.
Embroidered Patches
Embroidery created on a fabric backing that can be applied to garments using thread or adhesive. Great for cap patches, sleeve patches, or any application where a removable badge is needed.
Metallic Threads
A synthetic thread that gives the appearance of metal. Transforms flat designs into eye-catching pieces. Available on request — contact us to confirm suitability for your design.
Chenille embroidery
Loop stitches on the top of the fabric using wool, cotton, or acrylic yarns creating a textured, tactile finish. Unique and distinctive — sets your embroidery apart from standard designs.
Tackle twill (applique)
Cut pieces of material sewn onto the garment surface. Ideal for large letters or logos where strict embroidery would add too much weight. Popular for team names and numbers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum order for embroidery?
No — CCA accepts single-piece embroidery orders with no minimum. Whether you need one embroidered jacket or 500 corporate uniforms, we handle it all with the same care and quality.
What file formats work best for embroidery?
Vector files in AI, EPS, or PDF format are preferred. High-resolution PNG files at 300 DPI also work. Our art team will digitize your artwork into an embroidery file — this is a one-time setup included with your first order. The file is yours to keep for all future orders.
Can you embroider hats?
Yes — hat embroidery is one of our most popular services. We embroider structured and unstructured caps, toques, and beanies. Hat embroidery has specific design requirements due to the curved surface — our art team ensures your logo is digitized correctly for headwear.
Can you embroider small text or fine details?
Small text and fine details can be challenging for embroidery — very thin lines or tiny fonts may not reproduce cleanly in thread. Our art team will advise if your design needs simplification. Minimum recommended text height is approximately 6mm.
Is embroidery better than screen printing for corporate uniforms?
For professional corporate uniforms, workwear, and polo shirts, embroidery is generally the preferred choice. It conveys a premium, high-end look that printed methods can't replicate and holds up better on frequently washed workwear. For casual event t-shirts or large print areas, screen printing or DTF may be more suitable.
How do I care for embroidered apparel?
Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Air dry when possible, or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid bleach and high heat. If ironing is needed, use a low setting and place a pressing cloth over the embroidery to protect the stitching.
